Morgan Rielly was born on March 9, 1994, in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began playing ice hockey at a young age and quickly developed a reputation as a skilled defender. In 2012, Rielly was drafted fifth overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL Entry Draft.
